5 month ago I took my 2005 650 Rincon to Rick Case to get a Dyno Jet kit put on.   Guess what ?  I just found out that they never put in a jet !    A motorcycle tech in Ft Myers showed me the stock jet and compared it to the one on my Rincon and they were the same.  Basically these @$$ holes stole my Dynojet.   Stay away from Rick Case trust me, this is not the first time I had a bad experience with them.   If you do take your bike make sure Scott does not work on your bike.

They Suck !

I also heard Broward Motorsport has a bad rep to ( Make sure you know your tech person well.

Do you have receipts for the work supposed to be done?
Have you contacted the people at rick case and let them
 try to resolve it?

Why did you have someone else pull the jets on the bike?
From what you have said....it will be a he-said/they-said deal.
Sorry you think you got scammed.....but good to be warned  and
"buyer beware".

I cant really trust Dealers but once in a while I do send my bike in and get it serviced.  I really hate Cycle Springs I need a new Crank Case and they never called me and it's been 2 weeks.

Although it may sound bad, they did you a favor by not putting the dyno jet in, they never work right. I thaught Rick Case sold cars?

I understand the trepidation that many of you feel , in so far as, getting you bikes serviced there goes, however, is Rick Case still the best place to buy a new machine in south Florida?

No!! Rick Case is not the best place to buy a new machine. I purchased my woman's 06 FourTrax 350 from them, they wouldn't budge on the price one bit. Their dealer, shipping and all the other fees are ridiculous. I found the same machine $300-$500 cheaper in Palm Beach, but needed it pretty much right away so just did the deal.

I just bought an 06 Rincon 680 from Honda World in North Miami for $800 cheaper then the suggested retail price on the Honda website. They also didn't charge dealer, shipping, prep or any other fees.... and no catches. With all that, I saved over $1000.00 and still was able to go through Honda Finance and had the deal done quicker, easier and less stressfull then dealing with Rick Case. One of my friends purchased a 400 weeks before I did my deal and another friend bought one right after I bought mine. I would definitely give them a call before you go to Rick Case.

The owner is James Khalil 305-948-6464. I dealt with him directly and am very pleased with the service.

We bought our 450r from James and he is the best hand down he gives you a package deal with services included and he even picksup your bike and drops it off when it is done. if your investing in a new bike and your look into Honda he is worth a look or even call he is very flexible on shipping prices

yeah, my dad had his motorcycle worked on at broward motorsports for some mysterious carb and running to lean issue and he had a set of neon spark plug wires and they broke them and told him they would pay him back and he called to ask where his money was (i don't know why he didn't just get it then)  and they told him they didn't owe him anything because they put a brand new set of stock wires on it and there were a a hand full or two of inappropriate words said and basically he paid them to break his neon spark plug wires and not fix the problem, we were frustrated but my dads friends son is the manager there so he got  his money back and alot more

I just got my ATV back from Broward Motor Sports. 3 weeks later after hounding them almost everyday. The unit was over heating due to mud behind the radiator. So, i didn't wait for any parts. 3 weeks?? come on.. They were even nice enough to put a nail through the tire when test driving it. The machine is a 2006 Polaris with new tires. They offered to PLUG It.. How nice.. They charge me 240 dollars to intially repair it..Charge me another 50 dollars to deliver it.. They put a nail in the tire and they want to plug it how nice of them. After talking to the general manager they decided instead to patch it with a written warranty that it won't ever leak again on that particular hole... What was even more funnier is that they tried accusing me of doing it. Until I showed them the engine hours they logged in at the time of service and the hours when it was returned. Reported it the next day, when I noticed it flat in my garage. I will never take my quad there again...

I work in the American Powersports industry, though I ride red in the dirt. Don't let the he said, she said crap kill your opinion of a dealer without offering them a chance to fix whats wrong. Your situation sucks and is quite odd. What did the service manager at Rick Case have to say? If you trust the guy who said you're still stock, ask the s.m. whats up. You didn't mention any other mods so there really wasn't a reason to change the main. Is there a d.j. needle installed??

Gman I might have to disagree, word of mouth advertising whether it is good or bad does better than any money spent by the dealership for the advertising dollar. I know I read these threads about experiences my fellow riders have had and uses that as a prejustice to support that  provider.

Chuck,
I agree with your opinion on word of mouth advertising. My reference to the he said she said was with regard to the second mechanic. There may be legit work being trashed by Backyard Bob. If someone was truly ripped off, they have an obligation to tell everyone.
