Anyone know of someplaces to ride around Salt Springs area? Looking for nice basic trails to take the little ones on.

I normally would have suggested the "Id@ Trails" but since the $@#!% forestry service has decided they want to shut off access to those spots from the road,,,I cannot suggest them any more.

Basically find a place along 88 on the South side of 314 and park,,,,without one of the stupid "you can't go here" signs in front of the trail.

we found alot of trails off of 88 not sure about all the steerts up there. just a few miles north of the gun range on the west side of 88.

i think my buddy got a map at the salt springs check station on where you can ride.

sounds like you would have run into the little clay pit then on that side of the road.

at the intersection of 88 and 10, if you cross 88 from 10 it does not continue on the West side of the road, but a trail is there and will take you straight into a little claypit, and MANY trails.

pretty much anywhere in that area is going to be some awesome trails, good rule of thumb though is to just cross a clay road when you come to it, don't run down it or you get chased by the green trucks.
