i am not a racer, just a trail rider, etc for fun.  i would love to hit a track tho and run on a groomed surface and real jumps.  is there a play time at tracks for squids to get out there?

I forgot to mention, in Quickmx, they also have a XC track so you can try both, we practice there for the Hare Sacrambles races.

only problem with open practice is the other people out there.  like i said if we went out there for fun, we are not racers and would probably be in the way of the real racers trying to get real practice.
thats why i was wondering if there was a play time, like with just slow pokes

Hey men, I haven't heard about any track with a practice like that, you can always go at your speed, you just keep your line in the track and they will pass you without problem.

Most tracks that I've ridden on practice day encourage novice riders.

I've yet to meet a rider at any level that didn't encourage riders of lesser experience.

Just ride at your own pace and level.  Keep your line, the more experienced riders will get around you.

Just remember to bring the proper riding gear and you'll be good to go.
