I was meeting with my FP&L account rep today and he mentioned that there is about 115 acres that Lennar is choking on trying to find a use for. Local permits allow only a limited amount of utilities to run out there. Is there someone on this site that knows how to reach out to Lennar for a little bit of love on using that land for something else?  The land is located next to Mecca and the new Scripts lab West palm beach near PGA blvd. or Donald Ross? I dont remember.

As of this morning on the news, Scripps will be at the Donald Ross Rd Site.  But it is not big enough for everything so they want to put some of it in the Industral Area north of the Beeline 12 miles away.

Maybe the Lennar you are talking about is Lennar homes? They are bulding in the area.

As far as the Mecca site... the county is stuck with it.  So maybe we can use it ? Cheesy

Yes Lennar homes is who I am referring to.  From what FPL told me Lennar is not able to build becasue of restrictions in what the county will let them do. Lennar is beating on Scripts door trying to give the land away. Lennar paid about 100k/acre. Maybe a bunch of us can get together and form a coalition and buy a bunch of the land off of Lennar Wink  or the county. Surely there is land out there we can aquire.

If they paid 100k/acre, they aren't gonna let it go cheap enough for us to get together and buy it.

There is nothing they can do with the land.  You might be surprised. It is definitly worth looking at. Knock..Knock. this may be opportunity. Or maybe not
