its not my cdi, did a compression test on it and turned only 45 psi  Sad, but its only the rings (36.00, and luckily they siezed inside the piston and not outside).

Your compression will read lower than a normal compression reading because of the decompressor made on the cam, and if your rings are stuck in the piston grooves you need to make sure you clean,rinse and blow out the chamber the plug sits in or you can get dirt in the cylinder when you remove the plug, as far as testing the cdi, there is no way to do that, all you can do is check everything else and if all else is good then replace the cdi.  KEN

rings were stuck, i ordered a new set of rings will be putting together when the rings come in. The old rings tested bad when i check the ring gap where the ring meets together.
