Well i have been workin my arse off like crazy every chance i get. As most of you know im saving for a truck. I started out at 500 and now im at 2 grand and will soon be around 3000 dollars. I started working at a pay rate of 6.25 and got layed off and found a better job for 8bucks an hour. Im now at 10 bucks an hour and working any chance i get even if its only an hour after school. Sorry but i have to bragg a lil bit just cause im so stoked till i can get a truck. Here my latest pay check. Some of this money is going to the quad.

Kid aKa Curtis

PS: Sad to say but i cant wait to blow the money on a nice truck.

Thanks man, OH im proud alright ask my parents. My dad said he doubted i could get around 10 grand by Aug 3rd next year, and im shooting to prove him wrong. He believes in me but knows its hard to make good money at this age. In the summer im gonna be working mon-fri at 10 bucks an hour or more so ill be happy. And yes ill give up my friends time for money!

Thanks Mike, yep i am and actually loving every minute of it. Just the feeling of having money is awsome! It is just hard to not go on a spending spree on the quad. LOL And iv gotten so cheap i think the movies are too much money to spend on a weekend. lol Embarrassed........... Evil All my friends rag on me but not one of them is working and ill likely be getting begged to drive those friends around. I think its funny, ill have a nice ass truck next year i hope. Cant wait and this week is going by so slow, get my quad back next week and then im working the rest of christmas break.

Keep up the good work! I also have had to work to pay for all my toys so I know how it is. This is what I started out with, 1988 Isuzu Trooper II, 4cyl, 4wd(with no hubs so it didnt work). Then I have moved up from there 1993 1500 Chevy Single Cab on 35's, 1998 4runner limited, and now my 2002 Chevy Crew Cab 4x4. Just keep working and you will be surprised at how quick you can get what you want. Good Luck Man!!

LMK,

Good job. Keep it up. My only advice is just don't buy the 1st truck you go to look at. It's not really you wanting the truck cause it's a nice truck but it's more the essense of the impulse to purchase it.  Look around at a few. Oh and don't go blow all that money at a strip club. Keep it up kid, you will know the feeling of driving your own truck in no time.

My first car was a 1963 VW, $350, what a ride. Had to leave it in the driveway for a month untill I saved enough for the insurance. When that time came, and my mom wasn't happy at all, I was the happiest teen alive driving around in MY car. If you don't earn it, you will never have that feeling.

lmk. Take it from me. I just got my license a year ago. Be careful, you have to realize your not invensible and don't let you friends talk you into racing on side roads. If you do get pulled over take your keys out of the car and put them on the dash and put your hands on the steering wheel, (I find the cops like this cause this way they know your not going to do anything stupid).

Just some tips of advice.

Also did you decide what kind of truck your looking for?

Good job, LMK. That truck will be sweet because you worked your butt off to pay for it. I am impressed with your determination.
