im thinking about getting an exhaust for my kfx400, im prety sure i want the yoshi, i know i will need to jet it but i would like to know if getting an air filter with it is neccisary, i have heard it is but not sure

Its not needed..... I think,
but its worth it because its better for the quad and it will give you some power and its its only $50

Don't run a K&N they don't filter the sand very well. Also the stock filter set up on a KFX is junk. Buy the Pro-Design filter kit like you probably were talking about. They are around $100. It will seal a lot better than the stock set up. It is a small investment to protect your engine.

You can get outer wears and or a power lid thats like $120 (K&N)
