just woundering ......  ive been riding for a long time. but just bought my 1st pair of boots. do there ever break in and loosen up of will it aways be hard to ride in them.

they will loosen up the more you use them, but you must keep using them for them not to stiffen up again.

i know what you mean, at first they do hurt alittle bit or are bother-some, but its good to wear them because of rocks and such, but they loosen up and eventually feel better... i had problems shifting in mine at first, but then it got easier after awhile.  good luck

You have to fill the bathtub with hot water and soak the boots for about 10 minutes.  Then pour all the water out  Wink and put them on for about 3 or 4 hours.  They will form to you feet  Grin It works Wink

IMO a good pair of boots are just as important as wearing a helmet.  Something else you might want to try is adjust your shifter up a bit.  That will make it easyer to shif with the boots.

hey thanx i never thought about moving my shifter up.......  thank yall for all the help. its nice to no that there is people willing to help the less exp. Grin

If moving your shifter up doesn't help, you can also buy a longer shifter. One thing you don't want , is a four wheeler to land on your foot with no boots. I did...it really...really hurt!!
