Anyone gonna make the dec.3rd-4th buggy races this year? Everyone should try to go, rumor has it that it's gonna be last one. Cry For those that don't know the swamp buggy races are held in Naples, at the florida sports park. This event has been held since 1949  Shocked , it's basically the heritage of collier county. And now its gonna be gone, the property was sold too, guess who..? yep land devolepers! Angry   I know it's a couple weeks away, but I'm terribly excited about them. I'm gonna keep this going until the weekend of the races. Cool

that looks like such a good time. id love to take my son there. that sucks that its the last year. they gotta get this overdevelopment under control. Is there any way that they can relocate next year.  seems like its a big part of history in that county. Kind if reminds me of our rattlesnake roundup we have in my hometown in pa.

I brought my pitt out there in march or whenever they had the last, nobody ever says anything if you do bring your pets.  Also, everytime I have been there people bring their atvs and buggies and go play in all the areas around the park and again nobody has ever said anything to any of us.

So anyway I'll be there, leaving work at 2:30 today so I can set up camp if the section I roped off last night will still be there.  Hope to see some of ya out there, I'll be in the back by the first fence before the pit area.  I think the camp across from me has a building or some kinda scafolding on it, can't remember it was dark last night.

Tried to ride out their behind the park last weekend and the Hurricane has trees down everywhere. Most of the trails are inpassible.   I dont want to clear up the trail in 2+ feet of water eather.... Huh

Tongue Tongue Tongue lots of good times i had there.  old school 3 wheelers, and beer, mud and lots of druken idiots. its still a good time if you play it safe and watch all of the drunks tear up their stuff at the "power lines"  can you still ride there when they are not racing? Undecided
