There's alot of chatter between these two sport quads as most of you know.  Which one of these bikes is the best.  I personally like the LT-R 450 but some say the YFZ is much better.  Which is the Best Track quad?

No he has not rode it, he just likes the picture of it. The picture of the LT-R450 looks 2MPH faster than the YFZ's picture does.

I was going to wait for the LT-R 450 but it won't fit in my truck.(2 wide)  So I bought the Raptor.  "honda250ex" put a deposit on a LT-R so once he gets it i'll take it out for a test drive.

I need to call on that,,,,my quad is 49 or 50" wide and it fits in the back of my truck without problem,,,,now saying that,,,my truck has the same bed as a "Lightning", so you are either giving us a line of bull squeeze on the truck, or the research you did on the quad.

I personally think that the electric start option on the 2006 TRX450R gives it at least a 4mph advantage over the other two quads in question. Nerd

P.S. did you hear that it has electric start ! Shocked

My Raptor baerly fits in my truck.  I have about 1-2in of clearance on each side.  It may fit if you ram it in their.

dude, go out and measure a Lightning truck bed, you will find that it is almost exactly 50" wide at the tailgate, and the bed on a "L" is the standard Flareside bed for an F-150 which is what I have sitting in my driveway.

do some research before you type something for the whole world to see.

and does the LT have electric start? Evil

Ok, 49inches from where the tailgate closes, 53inches at the widest part before the wheel wells, and 50 inches from the wheel wells.

Last time I checked the YFZ450 and 700r had the same front end.. Which would be i think either 44 or 46inches. Mine clears all the time and when fully inside the bed, it has about 8 inches of moving room from a 360degree of the quad.

Sence when dose it have electric start?
 4mph?
Dont you meen it will be slower because the electric start would have to have a battery and the starter should make it weigh more not including the heavy wires that it needs for the push button and the starter cylaroid that ingages the starter and the bolts that hold all that stuff in and the water in the battery that must weight somthing also.  I think it would at least slow it down 5mph
