Does anyone know how he is?   I was on the River Ranch, North of 60, and rode down a main road to some camp sites by the lake.   I saw a young man had been hit bad by a yellow truck.   There's no way the man had a chance to avoid it--It looked as if the truck was speeding from the tire marks by the truck    I looked aroundand shortly left after that.  I'm curious as to if he is ok.

I havent heard anything about it, I live across the road(sam keen) from the main gate, and have a camp on the north side. I'll try to make it over to the gate and check with the gate keeper tonight, and i'll let you know what i find out.

Btw: did you see the 2 trucks taht have flipped out there recently. Thre was a new chevy 4 door that rolled right in front of our buggy, and then there was a f-150 supercrew tharolled down the road from the pond/mudhole (the dirt road that goes straight from sam keen)

Thanks for the reply guys.   I didn't hear about the truck that rolled!  I saw an old abandoned ford 4x4 in a mudhole a bit east of Jimmy's store (BP on 60 that is closed).  This accident happened where you make a right turn off sam Keene road (by the white sign) --go past the mudhole on the left--continue down the graded road until the 1st road/cattle gate on the right.  It's about 1/4 mile down the road on the right.

Seems that a lot of people get hurt out there. Hopefully those guys in the trucks are ok.   I'd hate to roll my new truck!

As far as I know everyone from the 2 trucks I saw were ok, at least until their parents found out.

I went to the gate last night and the gate keeper had'nt heard about anyone getting hit, but I'm sure if he wasn't ok we would have heard about it.

There was only one truck.  Some young boy driving a yellow company truck--I forgot the name, had hit a man on a 4wheeler.   I think it was a polaris to be honest.   You better believe he lost his job.    The damage to the truck was well over $2-3500!!  He shouldnt of had a company truck back there anyways.  Maybe I can get up there and snoop around..lol  What were you riding?  Did you see it happen?

Thanks Again!

Word sure does get around down there about this incident.

Seems that someone else got hurt again this weekend on the north side.

There was a big meeting with everyone about not letting people out there with passes, etc, etc.   I even saw a few faces I saw when this boy got hit.   A few pictures may help him out to identify who hit him...if you're readin this shoot me an email!

Hope everyone stays safe and dont drink and ride!

No it was some other company truck...it had a welder in the back of it...a huge one.

Either way, I've seen people on quads out there go around a blind corner at 50mph, same with cars & trucks.  It's a wander more people arent hurt out there.

We have a good thing, lets not ruin it, ya know?
