I'm having issues with the rear 2 tires not balancing out right, I'm changing tires next week.
Here is a little tip: dont mail order tires for your truck, they will send you square ones and then try and get them to do something about it. Sad

Chillin,
call johnson's performance here in sarasota 378-2693 he hooked me up with my Pro comps. the tire shop said I had a bad tire in the rear and I called johnsons that day and he had a new tire waiting for me the next day no questions asked.

What tire was that on your truck anyway?

Sweet smoke out.Warning chillin dont chip the 6.0 or cold air intake or use bigger exhast on the 6.0 it will blow the head gaskets and ford has a tsb out that they will red flag your warranty and wont fix the truck. Im just looking out for you brother hate to see you with a busted truck. The 6.0 is plenty powerful stock.

Thats a nice way to bust an axle or a locker. It may not happen this time or next but it can happen.

It is a nice way to break an axle, thanks for the concern. A better way to break an axle is to hook a 1/2 ton Chevrolet Wink to the bumper and see some serious breakage Grin

Well that Truck can do  that stock anyday.  Ford 6.0 Turbo Diesel is one fast truck.  Pushing close to 40 LBS. of Boost.

That's what the truck claims...But it's hard to think it will put out 40lbs.  Dont you have a guage on your truck that tells you your boost output.  My cousin has a '06 F-350 Super Duty Turbo Diesel and it says 0-40lbs. (Boost)  That's where I got the info from.  What year is your truck??

Im a service manager for a large dealer here in jacksonville and the ford rep. is declining warr. claims left and right. So if your service dept. is repairing your moddified truck under warr. thats cool till he gets caught and ford charges all his warr. repairs back he will be lucky to have a job. Just trying  help inform you all with the 6.0.Ford has just sent out the letter to us about 2 weeks a go.

I have the 05 f 250 and with the diablo 100 hp tuner and airaid intake with a K&N and i have aftermarket autometer gauges i hit 32-35 LBS of boost (at the most) @ 1250 deg on the pyro... and that matting it from 0- 136 mph on GPS.

Chuck,
the heating problem was a bad oil cooler... at least thats what ford says.. hasnt heated up since.. although they did change both head gaskets to "be safe"...

At that psi its only a matter of time and you will be back. I hope not though they are awsome trucks. The 6.0 was designed with not enough head bolts and thats why they have this problem.Any pressure over 28 psi under a load is certain to blow. The 6.3 or 6.4 is due out soon and I hope they have corrected this problem.

40lbs. can blow the engine.  But the 6.0 is way better than any engine.
