They will pull you out as long as you dont have a full tank of gas or way close to 250 because that lil honday can only pull 850lbs. But you and your 992lb towing Eiger will pull the honda and rider and passenger home any night!

Little Honda pulled many a stuck trucks out of the mud and I don't have to worry about the smell of burning belts  Shocked

Ive never smelled a burning belt. Is it similar to a burning Honda Electric Shift Unit?

And that's why the Vinson also come in a manual cause neither manufacturer can get the automatic right, lol. I have a vinson automatic so Im sure I will get the burning belt soon, but oh well.

i love mines....well its the 1st 4x4 i ever own...so far...no problems...i have the itp c series w/589 on it.....

that is exactly how mines looks down to the tires and rims. except the rack bags i carry my dewalt radio on the front and a cooler on the back. ohh and my ammo box for my air comp, plugs and anything else i wanna keep dry.

i dont mind about the thread.i just dont want to make a 6000.00mistake,you know what i mean.like buying a house going to be stuck with it for a while and atv,s dont always hold their vaule.

believe me...you will not be making a mistake....what ever bike you like...buy it....these guys just gave you an idea..of their opinion....so what ever bike you like go for it....i am a die hard yamaha fan....but i just love the 400 Rancher.....i love the grissle also...but i desided to buy the Rancher......i love the dam bike..its a great investment for me.......no one can force you what to buy.....are you buying it from rick case honda..on your side...thats where i got mines....with it loaded you might up paying like 11K for it.....to me thats way too much $$....


so what ever you deside to buy...its all up to you.....

Well, he might just have to settle for the Rancher.  I talked him into the Eiger like I'm getting, but they are having a hard time finding mine in a manual shift in green Huh

hey dml did you change any engine parts,and what size tires did you put,and did you go with or with out the lift.because it olny comes stock with 7.5 clearence,witch sucks compared to the eiger with 9.5

What  year is your rancher?Is a 2004 or 2005 model?


I saw your pics on that you have on there.That some nice upgrades you did to your atv.nice tires. Cool

Well when i get  my own rancher 4x4 in 2004 model
first:I put  itp atr's I have seen on atv tv  on outd network
channel and tire  hads better  traction on alot atvs like new front diffrent lock to make these tires cut through snow,mud very good. Smiley second:I'll put some more cargo bags like with coolers in them and big hualing  atv trailer that huals dirt and alot more to do with it.Grin

my bike is only 1 week old....05....i just got it....and i did all the upgrades one time.....they are 589 with the itp wheels, winch, toe package, bags....man i love it...no lift or snorkle yet...they say it will void my warrenty....
