I've  noticed some quads in garages/driveways when I drive around. Just wondering if anyone on here is from my general area....to compare notes where it is safe to ride, any atv clubs nearby,  etc.....

I'm down in Port Orange and we(Gf) just drove behind the Embry Riddle soccer fields. They got some good deep sand back there. Not sure how or if you would get in trouble. There are some good hills and a few trails all deep sugar sand.I could take my little 4wd S10 Blazer pretty much everywhere but had to be in 4lo and keep moving. You can see it from Clyde morris right at the bend opposite the airport.I'm about to go ahead and try to get the trailer and quad and try it out..I entered from Nova rd. and went down the north side of the canal. There is a small trail(vehicle width) you slide back in and then it's all woods and no homes. One of those places you would love to have found in HighSchool to take some booty back to.

It's not big enough for me to warrant bringing the CR500 out to but the 400ex would love it.

Other than that I only think Ocala is the option for us...HUGE area and you could lost very easily..But sh*t man it takes an hour to get there..which is fine it's the drive back I hate.

Went back behind riddle today....no trouble and pretty easy if you go in the right way.I took the trailer and had no issues.

The sand is deep and rutted so speed is not gonna happen but you can spin around all day and plenty of hills to berm out of..Not bad..I give it a 5

Good post shorgasm.
That is why I wondered if there was a 'local' ATV club.  Allot of places that seem to be 'may be' ridable.....and I would hate to clue in the whole state of Florida if they are not.
But I travel a bit around  Daytona and see allot of trails heading back into wooded areas.  I don't see POSTED signs and figure an ATV or two may not make that big of a deal.  You get more than five tearing up a place and people start to notice and then B1tching soon follows.
Just thought if there was a small group....kind of a 'club thing'....there could may be found four or five places to ride.......schedule a ride at one every other week. That way no one would be riding too much at any ONE of them.
Neighbors may not be so pissed off that way ....and we could ride.
I have had my eye on a couple places, and not knowing what is back in those trails......would be nice to help me get unstuck (or notify next-of-kin! LOL).
I have just had my ATV about three weeks......thought there would be more info.
