Check your axle spikes were they lock into the sprocket there starting to chip off.I have 15 hours on mine. Angry

Mine did the same, but its just the outside. Dont worry. Unless you feel TONS of slippage, dont go shelling the money out for a after market one just yet.

just checked those bolts on my yfz today and they were tight, tryed to tighten them a little but wouldnt budge

i would suggest you take them out and lock tite them just to be safe! i did!

After reading this post yesterday i called my friend who just bought an 06 last week. Today we took his apart and both bolts were loose. I just wanted to say good looking out guys. Wink

i have a leak on my YFZ450 and all my antifreeze keeps graining out i saw the hole wheres its coming out its right under the water pump idk what to do. Undecided

You need to replace the impeller bearings and seals. Maybe even the impeller shaft if is is worn.
