Are you speaking about that ole 250R you raced last
Sunday? If memory serves me right, currently your 450R
has a blown motor. Heh, reliable... puhhhhlease.   J/K

I think the Hondas are a better built quad but, stock VS. stock
the Yamaha is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster.

NOT hatin' just statin'... the facts.

Oh boy another "mine is better than yours" thread  Roll Eyes. Can't we all just get along ?  Both new machines have changes made. I know there are guys in both camps swearing theye have the ultimate machine, but when it's all said and done who cares ? If you like Honda, buy it. If you like Yamaha, buy it. The are both top quality products and with proper maintenance should both last a long time. Besides how many people have ridden both machines to say which is faster now? And since they are both coming with upgrades it would be hard to make a statement as to reliability since they just came out.

Banshee kid - if you like one over the other get it. If you want to see which is faster, wait and ride both. If you want reliability numbers you will have to wait a while for the data to come in over time. Now if you want to go on the 05 stats - The Yamaha is faster in stock form - this I know from riding both machines. Reliability wise - I hear the Honda is more reliable (something the company is known for) - I don't speak from experience on this - I just hear  alot of people saying the Yamaha has reliability issues. You can't go wrong with either one in my opinion.

trx#9's dirty little secret:

He was a Suzuki lover "back in da' day"! Yep that's right... he raced a
LT250 Quad Racer. Then he became a traitor and went to Honda.

Hoping no one would remember. You know what they say about skeletons
in your closet.

He tries NOT to be yellow anymore but he is at heart! Haaaaaaaaaa L  Wink L

My 2 cents is the yfz heres why, i was at dirtfarm and there was 2 450rs and 1 yfz, the yfz and his buddys 450r were bone stock the other 450r had just a pipe we draged race 10-15 times throughout the day and every time my dvx would be one bike ahead of the 450rs but the yfz had me by 2 bikes. Be minded I am not bragging at all just doing this as a comparision. My dvx just has the normal bolt ons and I have been riding it for almost a year now, so I hope this helps you.
