Closed??  It's never been closed-maybe flooded or too deep for 2WD vehicles to get to some of the parking spots out there  Cry, but never had heard of it being closed.  Haven't been out there for about a month-Sundays usually gets pretty crowded but still enough room for everyone and it's fun to watch some of the trucks playin' in the mud!!  Some of the trucks out there are amazing!!

I've seen people riding on I-drive a couple of times and wonder why.  It kinda ticks me off-there is plenty of riding out there and pretty much all is accessible without having to get on the road!!  Those are the ones who are going to ruin a decent riding spot.  Oh yeah and the ones that set the left behind cars on fire over and over during the middle of the day.  How fun can it be to watch a car that was already charred to a crisp---'yippee, let's start another car fire cuz!!!'

Is this the I Drive power lines that you guys are talking about?

I've heard about this place, but I've never been.

How's the riding? Is it good for sport quads? Are there any sweet jumps?

There are a couple of small jumps-mainly just wide open riding on trails and mudholes-it's worth at least one trip to check out!!

I was just out there today,it is fine for sport bikes.Parking was not a problem, even on my 2wd Jeep.Seen a police cruiser who was stuck out there, stopped & talked with him,he had no problem w/us.He was just patroling the area for people burning cars or doing drugs out there.Overall, had a good time.  Felix!!

Yea I know what you mean. I've been riding out there for about three years and every year it's the same thing. Hunters want to hunt where we ride and put up signs trying to keep us from riding some parts of 5a. The good thing is that it's not rifle season yet so maybe the hunters are just posting up their signs now for rifle season.

Its a great place to ride in my opinion. You should come and join us if you have never been there.

Hope to meet you there.

How are the trails out there? Can you get deep into the trails for some nice riding for an hour or so or is it simply a few minutes of riding through the trails and you're out of them and into the open area again?
