Has anybody been to a place called rancho 54? It is located 98 and state road 54. Went there with some friends labor day with mud trucks and it seemed like a pretty cool place to ride and camp.

Oh thats wierd all the people (like 30 people) I was with had no idea who owned it. Then somebody was telling us how like 8 people bought it as investment property and were sitting on it until it was worth big money and didn't care who came out there as long as no one get hurt. There were tons of people camping and riding atvs and no one ever asked any of us if we had a deed or were with an owner.

It's called Rancho Bonito. It's a very cool place to ride and is the same size as croom (2600 acres). You are supposed to have a deed to ride there or be with someone that does. It will be shut down soon due to all the people that don't own and go out there and trash the place. Angry

Yeah we heard the same thing. Some of the people that helped her were friends of my friends. It's people like them that ruin these places for everyone else.  Angry

>>It will be shut down soon due to all the people that don't own and go out there and trash the place. <<

I was out at Big Scrub (Ocala national Forest) for the first time......
I was surprised by the number of beer bottles discarded along the trails, but mainly along the 'power lines'.
Far be it from me to condemn what you drink, eat or smoke on a trail.....but geesh folks, clean up after yourselves Huh?
We are our own worst enemies.  For every good story broadcast about ATVs....there are 9 (or more) bad ones.
I just paid several thousand dollars for my quad...and have to truck it close to a 120 miles round trip to ONF.   Don't screw it up for me.
(1st person caught throwing a beer bottle and bonking a turtle in the head will get Big Scrub shut-down for sure!)
Said jokingly.........but still................just take a plastic bag, tote your trash out. Kiss
