I would start with the easiest/cheapest first. Change the oil & filter, run it at idle until the oil gets through the cooler, change the oil, run it, keep changing the oil until the milkiness is gone. Then ride it some to see if it still smokes. If that doesn't do it, it's time for professional help. Sound reasonable? At least you'll get the water out of the oil and eliminate that as a factor.

I agree, just keep changing the oil and filter, it will clean up. After a short time of riding, the smoke should stop.

I DONT THINK IT'S GONNA STOP SMOKIN IF HE WASHED HIS RINGS, WHICH IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY IF HE IS SMELLIN GAS AND OIL AT THE SAME TIME FROM HIS EXHAUST, PROBABLY STILL GONNA NEED A COMPRESSION TEST TO CONFIRM. HOWEVER THAT ALSO WILL REQUIRE MULTIPLE OIL CHANGES TO GET THE FUEL OUT OF THE ENTIRE OILING SYSTEM. JUST A SUGGESTION, CARRY ON.

That's true, but he's gotta start somewhere. If that doesn't do it, then do a compression test or seek professional assistance.

Props to Foremanmudder for having passed the first hurdle of quad ownership. Now just keep it dry inside.
