I've decided to get a new car soon because mine has 154,000 miles. I either want to get a jeep grand cherokee or a bmw 3 series. I currently tow with my van.
Jeep Pros: off roading, more room, can tow dirt bikes. Cons: gas, not good handling like a bmw, Might get tickets for off roading.
Bmw Pros: Handling is awsome, Fast, better gas mileage, looks niceer. cons: often tend to spead, no off roading, can't tow my dirt bikes

I think you should get an 04 Anniversary edition Ford Mustang GT with chrome wheels, leather interior, 6 disk in dash changer and lots of other cool stuff ......... Incidently I have one of those I can hook you up with As far as the BMW vs The Grand Cherokee.... I'd go with the Grand Cherokee. They are great all around vehicles. Nice, rugged, and practical.

think of one thing, you are getting a car thas 6 years old which means things are gonna break on it. at the time of repair its gonna cost a whole lot more to fix the bmw than the cherokee. just something to think about........

Buy a Chevrolet Trailblazer. Power to pull the quads and ride is so much better than the jeep. Unless you want a trick truck, then go with the Explorer because it will roll over.

The problem with the Beamer is that parts will cost an arm and a leg even if you do the labor. As for the Cherokee, it's a nice truck, but I still don't trust Chrysler's quality, especially the older ones. For now you're better off with a new vehicle with all the discount's being offered.

Speaking from Experience, We had a 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee and things were constantly going wrong with it and We had it From new. We finally understood what that saying "It's a jeep thing, you wouldnt understand". Just my .02 cents. Good luck with what ever you decide

DO NOT get the Jeep, my mom had 2000 grand cherokee limited and it constantly broke. I would look for something american because the parts will be a bit cheaper. Stick to GM or Ford because chrysler is just junk.

You mean we have something in common? We both own a mustang? Here are some things that if I were you would consider when purchasing a newer vehicle... 1. Which is better on gas? 2. which has better resale value? (cause you will sell it within the next 5 yrs.) 3. Which is cheaper on insurance? 4. Is riding your atv/bike big factor on the decision? You can still get speeding tickets in both equally. They both go over the speed limit so that's a wash. The only other factor which may outrank 1-4 above it will it attract the chicas? -Mark

Well my husband has already put his 2 cent in, but I would never buy another jeep even if someone paid me too. Once that thing hit 50,000 everything started going wrong. In one year we replaced the battery at least 4 times and Chrysler couldn't find anything wrong with it. My power seats went out on both the front and passenger side within a week apart. I could go on and on but I don't want to bore you. I would go with something else if I where you.

the 3 series BMW is equivelant to the Ford Focus. it might say BMW but you can count on things breaking consistantly. that comes from the a buddy of mine who is a parts manager at BMW

door #1 Jeep Cherokee???...door #2 BMW 3 series? ? neither of these vehicles would generally be considered to rank high in the "trouble free" zone....I'd opt for what may be behind door #3.(keep looking and keep your options open)

The service is unbeleivable. They figure if you can afford that vehicle then you can afford to service it. Even oil changes and services are more expensive. And I have not heard any good things on the Cherokee and seen some junk.

Hope this helps out in your search: The couple had been debating the purchase of a new auto for weeks. He wanted a new truck. She wanted a fast little sports-like car so she could zip through traffic around town. He would probably have settled on any beat up old truck, but everything she seemed to like was way out of their price range. "Look !" she said. "I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in 4 seconds or less." "And my birthday is coming up. You could surprise me." For her birthday, he bought her a brand new bathroom scale. Services are pending.
