I'm not sure but you can get a map at the rangers station and it is some of the best riding out there. Like Hollywood said, shady, a little wet, instead of dusty. People are missing out by not riding there. Its not a good place to ride if its dry but as wet as its been its the best place ever. Plus the trails are all marked in them.

Yeah, I got the trail map- the $6 one- and it does not say anything about not riding north of I-10. Just wondering if I was missing something.

Not sure, they must have been off the trails to get a ticket.

A sure way to get fined is to ride on the numbered roads!

You can ride anywhere in the forest out there just like Ocala except the area south of I-10 you have to stay on the marked trails and another area up close to Hwy. 2 is the same way. The area in between you can ride anywhere except the numbered roads. I'm not sure what the other guy was talking about they must have been on a numbered road or in a wetland. Big Gum Wilderness area is off limits but it doesn't take a genuis to figure that out. Met a pretty cool group of guys from my neck of the woods out there that showed us around one area most of the day. Even took a nice swim in a quarry pond to get the mud off.

We will not be out there for a while more than likely till march .WE usally camp at the 235  pond in the summer  and ride the trails there. They have designated trails now, north of I 10 pretty boring.. still know where to find alot of mudd though and stay on the trails doing it. well next time I go out I will post date time and place .Maybe we can hook up then. I ride a '06 grizzly red with 26"mudlites on t5 rims
