It will have plenty of water and very shady. You will have a blast. All the trails are marked also. Went a couple months ago and need to go again but not this weekend. The trails will have water but will be hard bottom so you can go through them ok. The deepest it was a few months back was about 2ft at the most.

Never rode at ocean pond itself but I do not think that you can ride out from the camping area. We always parked at Cobb Camp and rode frome there. We need to check out other areas.

Ocean Pond in Dixie Cty is a mud bog. I am not sure if there is riding there.

Ocean Pond campground is in the Osceola Nat'l. Forest near Lake City in Columbia & Baker Counties.

Depending on how much you want to pay. They are both good places to ride. Ocean Pond Mud Bog in Old Town is $15 per person.

I would like to find some trails to ride up in this area this weekend. If your riding in the National Forest you will need a title right.

I might could meet yall out at Osceola this weekend it's close for me and I can't get to far from work being on call.  Grin Someone would need to stop buy a ranger station and get an ORV map I know parts are restricted and I can't find the map online.

Steve hunting season is Nov. 12th I am on vacation that week  Wink

Hollywood,

Check the link I put up, i think your map is on that site.   If you know the area we need a team leader for Sat but whats the deal with this area do we need a ORV sticker to ride in the Forest?

I'll take a look at it. I have hunted there for years but never really explored it on an quad. I know they lay of the land but that's about it. Same deal as Ocala. No special stuff.

I can tell you that the trails are marked with signs everywhere. It is best to get a map from the rangers station also.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Matt. If it's going to be tomorrow I'll post and let you know. I don't think he has internet in the RV.
