I've been so busy in Orlando taking classes for my license that I had no idea what all was going on down there.  I've checked in on here and it's ony through that I realized what you were dealing with.  I'm so glad that all of you and your families are safe.  Gery, I'm glad you didn't lose your roof again.  Hope to meet you and your son on one of the rides coming up.

God bless you all and since I've known what was going on you've all been in my prayers.

We rode the 4 wheeler all day to get around. But didn’t tow a canoe, glad the Yamahas float. There are still a lot of people without power in my area.

You people got luckly  and I was in hurrcaine andrew long time ago
down lersure city at my old house down near lesure city park not one on lake
it's down by quicky market and it's on hardey lane.I was in old house built in 1952 it's like cracker  jack houses with solid walls it only had two blow out windows when eye andrew came through.and first morning i saw narja lakes trailer parks were destroy on first morning when i came out.

Well be glad you don't live in new orleans right now and I'm up near llive oak area and I was working tear down shed in lake city and I know over my house here mcalpin  we been get outer rains last few hours ago.but the  rain bands are not hit lake city all day and we must  been in clear today.

I have been watching weather last 3days so far  and I have 50kw gen no problems for power for me  and it's on farm and we use gen for 40hours last year when frances hit st marks and we had mircobester from down draft for squad line  and shook almost whole  mobile  home trailer and know down to big oak trees and we head in school shedters in live oak  don't go there they had tornado drill we where under skylight not very cool.but hurrcaines if they hit here and they safest place i go to my dads ceo bellsouth building in downtown lake city  we did that for third hurrcaine hit state fl and stay there we did not heard any wind or felt noting just only power losses thats was it all we felt in there. Wink

thanks,
amhighlander

hey i hope you people down south things will get better soon. Smiley

The night started as a lil PreStorm Celebration at MGR with poker and dinner.

But then we found out we were in the middle of a Hurricane but it did not stop the celebration...

Next morning we woke up had breakfast and hit the streets to explore the aftermath of Katrina.
As the farther we went the deeper it got.

This is XTREME RIDERS........
Crazy stuff we saw on our ride thru the streets in MIA...

At one point we had ridden so much we ran out of gas... So we did everything possible to get more gas for our bikes so we can keep riding even if it meant taking it from our cars.....

LOOK WHAT THE HURRICANE BROUGHT IN.......

Then it was swimming in sewage time... ha ha ha

Sorry Leo, I made him lose his goggles after I slammed him in the water...haha ha ha
