My  lights flashed about 8 times. Long hard Flashes. But the lights are still on praise the lord! I did have to rethink my generator situation. The genny does not like water so had to bring it around to the front of the house instead of having  in the back porch. (Back porch faces the south)

still have power, thank god. theres a down power line behind my house that keeps sparking up against my neigbors aluminum fence. apparently its not on our circuit/fuse because it sparks like crazy but isnt blowing the fuse on the pole. we are on the dade broward line. its really sparking/popping now as we speak. hopefully will not lose power.

I still have power but I'm not exactly getting the brunt of the storm.

I got power! But then again the sun is shining and the wind isnt blowing.  I had enough of this stuff last year though,(all 3 eyes of the big hurricanes last year passed within 15miles of my house) I wish everyone luck with this storm and pray that you are all safe.

Praise the lord for I still have power but I know it can be short lived. Our grid is usually the first to go but  we still got it. I think this is one of the prettiest pictures as for the house lights are still on.

The eye turned the winds around. So now I had to move everything from the front back around to the back.

It’s to dark to venture outside right now. The wind is pretty fierce though. And the cable is out. I wonder how gery350 is doing. It is hitting his area harder I think.

Hope all of you people in south FL are doing ok. Saw this morning where 4 people have been killed. Be very careful down there this one was worse than first thought it would be.

Well noe I have to worry about my 83 year old mother, she lives just inland about 5 miles from the coast over by Ft. Walton Beach and that looks like where it might be headed.
