As of 5:00 PM today, there will be no school for Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26.  Thank you man in charge that made this desicion.

This is for Broward County, Miami/Dade will have no school on Thursday, August 25, they have not yet said anything abput Friday yet though.

Enjoy while you can. When you get out in the work force no more days off because of the little storms, they will have to be big ones, and then you might not get off until the storm hits.

yea, the man in charge for Palm Beach county felt the kids could attend thursday until 11:35 am. for elem. and 1:15 for middle schools. wasen't that oh so nice of him. all the surrounding counties had off today, and tomorrow. so those of us who don't go to work had to get up at 5:45 thismornin.   can u tell i'm still cranky!!!  lol

half day counts as a full day of school, so now we have to make up 1 day (friday) instead of 2.  so it was very nice of him actually.  i didnt do much an any of my classes today anyways, mostly sat around and talked and watched movies.
