iwas just wondering. i thought the canal divided dade and broward but i know miramar patrols the area south of the canal. i was just curious because i thought that west of i-75 was dade county. also the area of the rock pit i thought was hialeah but my friend got stopped by metro. just wondering if anybody had a county boundry map. not that i ride there or anything.

The south side of the canal is dade county.  Where the canal starts to bend to the north by the lake is broward county (Miramar).  The lake is also in Miramar. I've been told that the land is owned by DOT and the reason the lake is there was for fill used to build the turnpike.  I believe Miramar, Metro and FWC all have permission to patrol in there by DOT.  I would not recommend riding in there anymore.
