Does anyone have any suggestions for an air filter, jet kit and exhaust kit for this bike.
Also, we've been having problems with overheating ever since putting on the mud tires. Any suggestions???It is snorkeled.

Thanks

i have a big gun exhaust and a twin air filter on my kodiak 450 it helped some for low end  and the reason its overheating might be because the radiator is packed full of mud

Check your radiator cooling fins for silt, spray some Purple Stuff all over it and let it soak then use the garden hose with a nozzle to blast it after it soaks.(I do not recommend Pressure washing as it can damage the fins). It also sounds like you might be running lean which will cause a hotter explosion in the pistonchamber causing the engine to overheat.
As far as a winning combo it's hard to say cause they all have such different characteristics. FMF and HMF both make good pipes, DynoJet makes a decent jet kit, & I would recommend K&N filters with an outerwear.
If your close to em ATP in Apopka does a great job making quads more powerful.

I almost forgot.
Put in a new plug, run it around the block at full throttle, shut it down and pull the plug.
Brown or tan=good
Black = rich, which is okay, but needs more air
White = BAD BAD BAD, running lean, needs more fuel which usually means rejet.
