does anyone have a report on the alapaha river. is it still up. we were riding in it last year at this time.

I posted under the where to ride section last week about it. I went out there 2 weekedns ago and took a look and there is still a good 15ft of water at the overpass. It has come down sice the last pics I saw but still another month or so away even if it keeps going down at the same rate. maybe we'll get to ride it this year maybe not. The city re-graded the side of the road there at the overpass so it might be kinda tricky getting in there. I made it down in the Jeep but with a trailer in tow we might have to take the side road down the powerlines to park. I have some pics I'll post one of these days if I remember.

Ida, you would love the place, but one word of advice, paddles, you would have ten times the fun with them, because it is soft, and with your 400, you will dig right in, and  in seconds unless you start off real slow.
