In September 2004, St. Lucie County "postponed indefinitely", any decisions about the proposed ATV Park. Postponement was due to Storm Cleanup.

The county has been able to deal with many issues since, including, soliciting RFP"S for a designer to expand the Fairwinds Golf Course which is next to the property which was being looked at for the ATV Park. (Done on Jan. 11, 2005)

It is time to revitalize the effort to open this ATV Park. There are now two new commissioners on the board. The commission needs to hear from supporters of this project.

Please call or e-mail the commissioners and show the need for this facility. It is important they see the number of Saint Lucie County residents who are involved with ATV'S and Dirt Bikes. Identify yourself as a Saint Lucie County resident and voter. Support can also be shown by writing letters to the editors of, "The Tribune" or "Palm Beach Post", Treasure Coast addition.

Commissioners         Phone              E-Mail

Dist. 1-Joe Smith- -462-1410-Joe_Smith@co.st.-lucie.fl.us
Dist. 2-Doug Coward-462-1412-cowardd@co.st-lucie.fl.us
Dist. 3-Paula Lewis-462-1406-barbarab@co.st-lucie.fl.us
Dist. 4-Frannie Hutchinson-462-1451-liz@co.st-lucie.fl.us
Dist. 5-Chris Craft-462-1408--ODonnelE@co.st-lucie.fl.us

Please take the time to send an E-mail, make a phone, or write a letter to the editor. The same amount of time it takes to complain about no where to ride can possibly make a difference.

Flyers are being distributed at the three local Saint Lucie County ATV/Bike Dealers with this same meassge.

If you operate a business in SLC and would like to have some flyers, PM me with the info and I will bring some your way.

SPREAD THE WORD.

It's so nice to hear they don't wast any time expanding a golf course.  The state of Florida sucks if you want to have any fun.

Angry I know there are more St. Lucie Riders on this site..Then what has responded....If we don't make our voices heard it definitely won't happen if we don't get involved it will die...That's what they want.

Even if you are not a St. Lucie County Resident, write the congressmen anyway and tell them you are ready to spend money in this county to ride.
