Due to the amount of rain Florida has recieved this year FTR has had to reschedule some of the Quad Series races. The first one now is scheduled for Oct 22nd and 23rd near Madison, Fl.

redinjun, you can run a,b,or c 2 stroke.or 0-400 a,b.or c.I would recommend 0-400 there will be more guys to race with.I don't even know why they have 2 stroke clases there are usually only 2 or3 2 strokes that show up.

Well Jen, I think there has been only a few 2 strokes on the FTR regular series becuase there wasn't any 2 strokes class, I'm sure there will be a nice turn out, and we have to bring as many people as we can to our new series.

In preveous years there have been 2 stoke classes with the same result 1 or 2 in the class thats why they changed the class structure for 04 season.the 4 stroke c class would have 45 to 50 quads while the 2 stroke c class would have 2.Ask dooski how many guys he raced against when he had his 250r,the 2 stoke classes will probably be eliminated again in the coming years.

From what I hear, you might be pushing it. But I guess it really depends on the track.

As far as decible goes, people are talking about just going and actually seeing what they hit at the day of the race.. They also said they wont send you home, but give you a warning to get the sound down.

Check out the manufacture to see if they offer an insert to only lose .5hp but drop the dbs

I just want to remind everyone that the Florida Trail Riders "Hare Scrambles" first event is September 10th and 11th in Bunnell, Fl. This is for Quads and Bikes. The Quads still race on Saturday with some bike classes, and on Sunday ,it's the bikes only. This is a different series than the FTR "Quad Series", which is what this thread is about and hasn't started yet. The race in Bunnell is the regular Hare Scrambles that has competed for years.
So, if you are READY TO RACE, then get ready for HS#1. SEE YOU THERE!!!!!!!!!!

Florida Trail Riders first Hare Scrambles is being held on September 24 and 25 in Holopaw Florida, (near Kissimmee). You can sign up at the race, but be sure to have your correct color number plates on your ATV. You will be assigned a number that you can add to the plates the day of the race. This is the regular Hare scrambles series that has run for a number of years. The "NEW" Quad Series has not started yet.
Any information you need is on the floridatrailriders.org website or ask question here and we will answer your questions.

I looked at the schedule...says "All Quads" on Saturday PM...then on Sunday it reads "A, B and C" classes in the PM. Are the races two days? Or are the A, B and C classes on Sunday for dirtbikes only?

Pat,
All quads run on Saturday for 1-1/2 hrs. at 3:30pm. Each class lines up on a different line and are let go in one minute increments. Fastest riders go first, slowest go last. In theory, no class would catch the class in front of them.
When the FTR "Quad Scrambles" start, then some quads race on Saturday and some on Sunday. For the Hare Scrambles this next weekend, we are done at 5:00pm and then we have Saturday night to party and BS, and then Sunday to drive home.

The race this coming weekend(24th) is just South of Orlando. Just West of Melbourne. Off 192.
Sign up starts around 7am. There is a practice lap at 9:30
50 inches is the width rule. I am running 48-1/2!! Those trees get tight!
Lot's of fun.
Here is an ariel I found. You can see the smoke from the starting line.
Hope to see some of you guys and gals there.
The rule is now 96 decibles.
I can attest that a stock pipe is more than most can REALLY handle. Wills Pledger runs a nice and quiet stock pipe, and blows the doors off piped/jetted, and what ever else we love to do to make 'em go faster, machines.
