I got a text message from friends who went to 5A this morning and parked at Maytown Road. They said that it was all posted with " No Trespassing " signs.  I jumped into the car and went to the 5A parking lot and there are signs all over the place there too. I guess it finally happened !!!   Larry

HEY... HEY.... You over there!

Are you having fun not hurting anybody?Huh
I am going to have to ask you to stop what you are doing and vacate the area.

This is now a (No Trespassing) area. Leave or you will be arrested!!

What a bunch of B.S.

The same people who once used these riding/mudding areas are the same people fighting to take it away from the next generation coming up.

Its happening ALL over the darn state.

CORRECTION !!!!!!!!!!

The guy texted me back and said that there are only " No Trespassing " signs at the 5A parking lot. There are no signs up at Maytown Road.

Maytown Road is not posted so I guess you could probably enter from that side. I can't because my Hyundai would get stuck in the sand. LOL

Sorry for the confusion !!! Larry

Somebody stole the original " No Trespassing " signs, but there was a couple of Deputies there today keeping everybody out. I just went by at 3:30 PM and there's nobody there and they put up new signs. Looks like they made a trip to Walmart. LOL

Hurricane Bob said that there was a Deputy up at Maytown Road this morning and told him that they can't keep you from parking in there, but if you park along the road, they will tow you. For those of us that park at 5A---it looks like we are done riding there.

Just went by the 5A parking lot and boy have they been busy!

They put up a fence the whole way along there, the "No Trespassing" signs are still there, and they put up "No parking any time" signs on both sides of the parking lot. I guess that they're serious about this. LOL   All of you people that told me that they will never closed 5A down---I guess you're wrong.

I've heard that they're still riding from the Maytown Road parking lot. Just can't park along Maytown Road or you may get towed.

I have not seen this with my own eyes, but three people have told me that "No Trespassing" signs are now posted up at Maytown Road.  Larry
