I have never been to 5A yet but I have read that it is a good place to hit the trails.
I live in Jupiter so it is a 2+ hour drive for us.

I am wondering what the conditions are like out there currently. We don't really care for the mud so we
are looking for some good trail riding minus the mud.

I have read that they are going to shut it down there sooner or later so I would like to at least go before that happens.

Like most riders on here, I am looking for more places closer to home to ride ......so if anyone knows of places let me know please.

We have been to Florida tracks and trails and it was nice but wet on 2 of the 3 trails.... the tracks were nice though...
We used to go to L-Cross until they went private recently...

that is the word......

going by what I read in your post, 5a more than likely wont be your place for riding.....as its very hard to catch the time of when there isnt a lot of water out there and its just trail riding.

if you change your mind let me know .....

Newbie to this site and LOVE to reide when i have the time.

Where is 5A?

I live in Sunrise and ride Lebelle (buddy ones property) and the Seminole Reservation(when I can get my Seminole friends to go). I've been to 8th street once but the riding wasn't that great unless you like to WORK for your ride, which is fine with the right crew.

Never been to the humps due to many people telling me that thier trucks got broken into down there.

Anyone know if East Bonita is still open?
Haven't been there since I heard they were towing trucks and trailers from by the pumps. Cry

Really miss the riding over there!!

Where is 5A?

it is off of the scottsmoor exit on 95 .

its kinda  dry out there right now, but we did have some rain the last few days......but if its wet, I highly suggest that you dont go out there alone due to some of the water holes, which can be pretty nasty.

we go out there most saturdays with a group, more than welcome to join.

So I am pretty sure i am asking questions already answered somewhere, but here we go...

Is it legal (truely legal) to ride out at 5A?

With a 3 hour plus drive, if it isn't a legal riding area, I will just head to R.R. instead.

it is private land, but people ride out there regardless.      you wont get in trouble for riding out there.

there is rumor / talk of this place shutting down as supposedly a hotel is going to be put up out there...and whether or not this is going to happen, nobody knows.

this might not be your place on account of mud and water.         right now its on the dry side.....but in a few months when rainy season starts, it will be very, very wet out there.

here is another video.....

I'll either hit you up here or i will e-mail you.

Thanks for all the info and the offer to show me the lay of the land.

I'll try to bring a good sized squad from down south. Cool

correct.

once you get off of 95, the parking lot is right there.

we like to get out there early ( around 8 ) and ride before all the drinkers get there......but we will exchange numbers when the time comes and we will just meet you at the parking lot.
