Thanks for your question. We had a soft opening in May to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our official opening was June 1st. We are currently offering a 1 day free guided tour to let folks come check it out and see what we have to offer.

Saw your site before and looks like a nice place to go to....but seems a little expensive . I get that it costs to pay for this and that...but just seems that its a lot of money to fork out at once.
" Adventure Membership
Only 500 Adventure Memberships will be sold with an annual payment of $600 plus tax for a family and $400 plus tax for a single person. Prices will go up annually as the club expands and adds more adventures. "

We understand that not everybody can afford $600 dollars. However, it covers 2 adults and 4 kids, we are open 52 weekends with extended holidays so we feel that it's more than reasonable. We also offer discounts of up to to 100% if you refer some friends.

I'm 150 miles away and would only make it there a couple times per year. So yes it's way too much money.

So, I see that I am not the only one that thinks that its a little pricey.
I understand that its your park and you can set the rules, prices as you see fit....but how do you plan on getting people out there if the price is already to high ? Owners of parks want reasons why people dont come out to ride , and this would be one of the reasons is the cost.
We have friends that live in Jacksonville and we are in Deltona and we try and find a half way point to meet and ride...and this would be on this list but its that price that ruins it.
Have you thought about offering a 1 or 2 day pass where the person can pay a daily fee to ride out there ? Maybe this would bring out more riders as its more affordable.

I also think that the price is too high!
For the same distance that I would have to travel to get there, I can go to ONF at Salt Springs where a yearly pass is only $75.00 a year. So for my wife and I it's only $150.00 and our kids are grown and gone. There's no mud pits or water areas there, but if that's what we want, we will just go to 5A which is free and only eight miles from my house.
I understand that private riding sites have to charge more and I hope that you do OK. But if I lived right next door to your site, I couldn't afford $600.00 a year.

ONF gets federal funding, hence only $75. How much does it cost for a couple or family for a day at Disney World? How much do folks pay to attend NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB games, concerts and other entertainment, including casinos, smoking, drinking, etc,? The market will decide whether or not $600 per family memberships will draw customers. Unfortunately for Florida Cracker, ATVers are generally not as supportive of private venues as other recreationalists(tennis, golf, bowling, fishing, hunting, etc.).

Thank you to all of those that posted their advice. We do understand that our club is not designed to encompass the entire outdoor enthusiast market. However, like the post above said, “The market will decide whether or not $600 per family will draw customers.” We have actively been open since June, and in a month and a half, 80% of our Founder Memberships have been filled. We are also beginning to fill the Adventure Memberships roster.
Our pricing structure compares well to nearby ATV parks, one of which costs $35 per person per weekend. These parks are only open one weekend per month, i.e., $35 x 12 = $420 annually or $840 for two people, for a maximum of 12 uses per year. So for a single Adventure Membership, we are $20 cheaper per year. Our Family Membership is $600, saving $240 per year, and we are open 52 weekends per year, not merely 12. Remember, a family membership is two adults and four children. Family memberships can include father, sons and grandkids, brothers, or even two neighbors, thus, greatly reducing the cost per household.
We do understand that the fee is a lot to come up with at one time. However, it costs a certain amount to go through the membership process. We do background checks on all members for the safety of our clientele. They receive stickers for all of their equipment, shirts for every member, and a member ID card. Also, remember that the Florida Cracker Ranch has amenities far beyond that of conventional “mud bogs.” We have a crystal clear, artesian-fed five-acre lake that’s twenty-five feet deep for swimming and fishing. We have 100 acres for horseback riding, mountain biking, and nature watching; 150 acres for dirt bikes; 500 acres for ATVS; 250 acres for swamp buggies and 4x4’s. An ATV can also enter the 4x4 area as long as it displays a 6 ft. orange flag. There is also a 10 acre community mud hole. Lastly, we have a skeet shooting range and hot showers. Total acreage is just over 1,000.
So if you’re looking for a safe, family oriented good time with lots of mud and different types of adventures, there is nowhere in central Florida that offers more to do at less expensive rates than us. We like to think of ourselves as a fun state park on steroids. If you would like a free, one-day ride along tour, please contact us at floridacrackerranch.com.

Even if I could make it four times per year it would cost me about $1800.00. Not worth it and will never be

I'm not sure how you come up with that figure but I'm sure you have suitable parks near you. Let's be clear, it's not worth it for you. Our current and future members will be members forever. Thanks for your post.

Our members love the fact that they get a personal camp/storage site. Members leave their campers/atvs/RV/trailers/swamp buggies, ect at the park. No more loading and unloading every time you want to come ride. We are offering a 1 day try before you buy experience in August and September, come check us out.

I know this thread is old, but I haven't seen anyone post that comes to FCR. Our friends have a membership and we go everytime they do. We usually stay the weekend and camp. Great place, great people and lots of fun. We may even get our own membership and try to get a parcel to put a small cabin on eventually, like many others have out there. Trust me, you meet much better people in a membership park like this than at a place like 5A...
