If you guys can spare a minute and sign this petition that would be great!
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/747/040/527/keep-miami-mx-park/#

Please help keep the only track we have in South Florida open and under the ownership of someone who genuinely cares about the track and riders!

I wish they did things in a fair and legal way!!   RFP!!  requst for proposal!!  this way anyone interested and capable could have a chance to submit a proposal to run the place!!   If this process was in place from day one we could have had Lazaro from day one!. Please allow the people to decide!!!  we need a fair and legal process!! Transparancy in this process will allow the best candidate to be chosen!!!

Never been, but we need every bit of riding area possible. Would hate to see another area lose riding spots.

Unfortunatly south florida is SCREWED.

Theres nothing we can do, no petition we can sign, no legs we an break, no one to kidnapp...etc.

South florida is lost, the only riding we can do is on private property or by breaking the law and either wishing not to get caught or running.

The only legal place to ride in south florida is at county line dragway on the 8th mile drag strip, I will be bringing my hybrid 2 stroke atv there soon  Wink

Actually Im the one that posted the ad for atv drag racing in south florida on craigslist.

The problem there John is not everyone gets the same thrill on a drag strip that some would from a motocross track or trails.

I've spent and am continuing to spend a lot of money on my atv so it fits my riding style, Miami MX is the only legal area that fits that description within reasonable driving distance.

I know it really kinda sucks.

I was hoping that the drag strip meets would get trail riders and mx riders out on a friday and saturday night for some friendly track runs.

Then from there we could discuss riding spots and when to meet up, I have 2 dirtbikes and 2 quads that I cant ride anywhere  Cry

Unfortunately I've never been to Durhamtown, but you're more than likely thinking of Wheelieboy (Gregg)!

I'd love to hit up Durhamtown one day, but it's quite a drive lol. I'd have to plan that out months in advanced.

I don't believe he still rides, its been a couple years since I last heard from him.

I'm beefing up the engine on my 400 to a 440 this week, so once that's down I plan on making frequent trips to the tracks in Central Florida (thundercross, Dirty Foot).
