Does anyone want to plan a ride at Big Cypress? I've always wanted to check it out.  Or the Hump in Homestead. Either or, i am going thru withdrawal and want to ride somewhere.

a buddy of mine went riding at big crypress and he told me the  rules/regulations in there are insane when it comes to atving..in his opinion he says most likly atv's will be baned from big cypress in the future..HEADS UP! if ur going 2 the humps..do not park ur trucks/trilers on,(PALM DRIVE SW344 ST. & 137AVE) they are paving 137ave & no tresspassings went up  and also dont park at palm drive 344st & 167ave tennesse road. passed on 2 sundays ina  row & there was a homestead  cop kicking everybody out..if u park in some trail in the woods, make sure ur truck/trailer isnt blocking the path of the trail,i had encounter with FPL workers & they wanted to pull my truck/trailer back of the trail with a bulldozer they had..so dont block the trails pleaseeeee.

Thanks for the heads up on big cypress - it doesn't look like its worth the hassle. Whenever i go to the hump i always park at card sound and 360th st where there is a dirt road and i always park to give people room to drive by.  im not keen on parking in the open i think that's just asking for trouble.   I usually stay in that little area when i ride. i havent been to the open areas that are way south of the raceway but i really want to explore it. are you going anytime soon?

when i ride, finding a safe non visual parking area a top priority 4me!!,i try to find a parking location some were with in the trails, away from the open road or being seen from the road.i like 2 find some secluded dirt road a mile or so into the woods 2 park..i only ride (monday thru thrusday)i rarelyyyyyyyyy see another atv out there or cops on week days,......oh another heads up 4 u humps/homestead trail riders.the trails leading 2 turkey point power plant ,heading east bound right 2 the power plant, are all monitored by real time video from the power poles & they have motion censors, all along the access trails heading to the power plant too, inbeded in2 the ground..i speak from experience recently, with 2 power plant security guys out there.they dont care if we ride as he told me.( ride till the wheels come off) but we r looking for guys shooting at our power poles & starting fires ..they told me everybody on those trails is being watched with real time video 24/7./he flat out told me, we saw ur truck coming in 2 the trail, that how we knew u was blocking the trail....ride safe guys. god bless u all. the camara's r allover according to the security guys from turkey point,,he said most of the power polls thruout the trails have tiny camaras on them, & they have real time video 24/7 from those cam's..the montion censors i saw them from sw 137 ave to sw 360st ( lucille dr.) heading east bound right to the power plant, they also told me that all the trails going east to the plant r watched very closely. watched...his words i remember was ( we have been seeing u and ur wife ride for about 2hours).....ohhhh the security guys made me an offer (in which i said sure just 2 get them of my back).they told me that if i rode with a digital cam like on my my helmet,to film as many atv'ers & trucks parked out there,he said we r interested in identifying faces & license plates, take video of that & we will give u an e-maill address u can send it to us & u can ride out here all u want,no 1 will stop u ( not homestead PD,fwc,no 1,this is all FPL property),just keep informing us of whos riding n shooting..so they basicaly want  riders to be (informants/snitches) 4 them..so avoid guys with helmet cams & taking pics...u never know whos gonna see them..

that is some very useful information regarding the power polls. i will def stay away from people with cameras on their helmets. i've been looking and looking and cant find trails that you can ride on to avoid them. they are freakin everywhere. where can you ride to avoid those power polls?
