stolen fourwheeler charges?

i had my fourwheeler stolen a few mouths ago.i just got it back 4 days ago and i was wanting to know what kind of charges i can put on the kid and how do i get him to pay for it to be fix. i bought the four wheeler in augst 28 2012 and it got stolen october 23 it was a new 2012 honda rancher and the kid f**k it up bad . he paitned it and broke some of the plastics on it and th motor run like sh*t. the bars a are bent on it to .so f some one can help please let me know. thanks

To be honest, they'll probably tell you just be glad you got it back. Chances are the kid who stole it can't afford the damages he did to it; sure you can sue him and what not but you wouldn't ever see the money.
Cops didn't ask you if you wanted to press charges when they told you they know who stole it?

The judge can order for that to be paid for. While he's on probation he will have to pay monthly payments to the probation office and if it's not paid by the end of his probation that will be violation of his probation.

i was a victom of a big ponzi scheme 4yrs ago, the guy is convicted & serving 25yrs and i havnt seen a penny of my $$$,even tho they confiscated all his assets..my suggestion & this is from a person that has exhuasted the law when it comes 2 theft & fraud..i would just move on, fix or replace ur bike,learn from it all and secure ur bike so that it doesnt happen in the future...if u sue ur gona have 2 hire an attonrey & they love 2 drag cases since they get paid by the hour. & at the end ur gona be out alot more $ and get nothing back..
