TT racing was a BLAST last night!! everything went smooth and no one got hurt. Had 10 quads and some good racing. Would love to see the numbers grow. Brought back memories. Let's see if we can spread the word .. I know there are alot of quad riders out there that would love to race.. not much skill  needed and the cost of just some flat track tire are minimal.  Hope to see you guys soon!!

It's been awhile since I raced with the SDTA didn't know how it would go being stuck in the middle of the line up. But it went very well and wasn't too bad. Would have liked to have 2 heat races instead of 1, more water on the TT part of the track, and have the flag man STAY OFF THE TRACK. Other than that... thumbs up to all who made it happen!!

Yes, the turn out was good but it could be better so come on guys, pull you bikes out and come check out the TT scene! The 1 heat thing is to save time only..... i believe they were just trying it out to see how it goes. As fas as water goes they have to be SUPER carefull with that track! It will go from dusty to mud with one wrong move so sometimes its good and others not as good. Imo thats just part of that tracks charm and you must be a diverse racer to deal with it, just makes it interesting!

As far as the flag man goes, PLEASE dont stand on the track. We almost had a bill mcleary repeat!!!! Lets keep it safe people! The race track is for racing only, not for standing....

Hope to see some new faces at the next race!

Also,

Let's move the starting line back like last time to give the quads time to settle in by the first turn.  I agree I like the 2 heats better than 1. Takes the politics of wondering who gets the good position and bad (outside back row) for your one and only qualifyer heat.

I know there have been some complaints by some about how late the racing goes until. Some of these people didn't even show on Saturday, so I don't think we should be catering to them.

There was some great racing Saturday , it was good to see the Palatka group , and Sinn and his group ,made for some good racing ,everybody did a great job.

Derek you and Jon where on a tear ,just smoking thru there !

where was -  Main, Rice, Doherty, Brunt, Swartz and Knoop ?

W.T.H  was with all the brake problems  at least 3 riders had trouble with their brakes, you guys sharing a contaminated can of brake fluid  !?!?!?

moving the line back is a good idea , then you wouldn't have to start in the loam from everyone slinging clay coming back onto the front straight.

and I also don't like the changed format ,we didn't save any time, we still ran TWO separate heats , and it also takes away another chance to recover a decent spot on the line if you happen to get wrecked or have machine problems in your heat !

if we ran two 6 lap heats and a 10 lap main for TT ,and two 8 lap heats and 12 lap main for FT it would work fine ,also getting started on time and maybe earlier would be a huge gain !
I didn't hear anyone that liked the new format, even the bike guys !!

I spoke with Ward and Bill about the corner worker and the flag man staying out of the way, they will get it straight.

as far as the track conditions concerning the water ,all we need to do is ask, Bill will make it right ,we just need to be more proactive letting them know what we want, before it's too late.

It was a great night, clean , fast ,competitive  ,and fun to watch , just wish I had recorded it  !!

we'll see you guys at the next race !!
