Zman those trails are easy to find.  Park in the back by the picnic pavilion and bath rooms.  The pavilion is on the north side of the road.  Those pits are directly south on the other side of the road from the pavilion.  Its about 50 yards south of the road and they are huge.  There are some other pits on the north side but its a lot harder to explain where to find them.  Have fun!

Trail Guru??  Grin  I'll try

The north end is mainly wooded trails,  If you run up Q trail heading north and look to your right you will see a big pit  about a tenth of a mile after that if you turn left into the woods you will see Lorain’s Gulch. It’s a small Old Phosphate mine and you will find some hill climbs and some sand tracks in and around the gulch.

If you take R trail over to L trail and follow it to T trail you will find a pond if it’s been rainy and some more hills to climb.

Here is a map of Croom to help you get around.

Second map shows the mine area near the shelter
