Does anyone know about the new rules at some of the parks?  According to their websites, Hogwaller and Soggy Bottom in Macclenny on the Georgia border both now require all ATV's and UTV's to have Flags mounted on them.  It is some kind of new insurance regulation.  If you go without one, they will make you buy one from them.

Flags are a good thing. I have found while riding on a blind turn sometimes you will see a flag coming at you before you see the atv. The flag is way up in the air sometimes it can be seen over the bushes and through the trees. Flag can help to prevent some accidents. We use flags everywhere but Croom.

Where can you get a flag?  Does it have to be a certain size or color?  Mounted somewhere in particular?

do a web search for atv flags and you will see a whole bunch of sites. I bought one from dwflags.com. One of the things that i noticed with the typical pole is that they break often so i opted for the old style cb antenna whip with the spring mount purchased at radio shack longer than i would like but works fine for me at river ranch.

any bike shop should have them or you can buy a safty vest and make some pretty easy. Most places I've seen want them to be orange.
