My Honda Recon just uses 90w gear oil in the diff. I would expect yours to be the same. Got an owner's manual? It would be in there.

polaris wont specify what your supposed to use, they just sell there own fluid that your pretty much forced to buy. so check in your owners manual to see which one of their stupid overpriced fluids you need to buy. if it calls for "angle drive fluid" im pretty sure that one is just 80w-90 gear oil, if it calls for anything else like "hub fluid" or some other bs just buy it because i couldn't tell you what it is.

Just use the Polairs oil, its full "Synthetic" and don't worry about changing it again for another 10 years...

Using different type of oils or mixing them has been know to add to problems! Please call the Polaris dealer they will tell you what to use!

You have to run the Polaris lube that is made for it,if the frt end is locked in to 4wd via magnets, the fluid has metal particles in to make the hubs lock hope this makes sense ,may not be explaining it right but the general idea is right, I own 2 popos (hopefully not long!!)
