It's not often but I have to disagree with you on this. It was no mistake. A lapse in judgrment yes, but a conscious decision to act out and he broke the law in the process. Celebrities seem to do such things without regard to the consequences due to their perception of elevated status. Regardless if it's murder , theft, DUI, or  impersonating an officer they deserve no special treatment. He'll undoubtedly get off with a minor slap on the wrist but he deserves whatever the actions would earn any non-celebrity status individual.
I think the guy is awesome ! But still no special treatment. He broke the law.

classless statement. How is that even warranted. he did something stupid, he didnt buy crack, a prostitute or steal anything. I bet if the car had pulled over he would have not stopped. answer to question#1= what he did was premeditated,he new what he was going to do when he took possession of those lights. i'll bet that was'nt the first time he used them!! he knew it was against the law.
#2= i could'nt care less. #3=daahhh,he rides better than you & your son!!! #4= again i could'nt care less
#5=color has no issue,it was premeditated.  when poeple do stupid stuff its spur of the moment,
they do'nt think it thru & are most of the time intoxicated. #6= do the crime-do the time!!

I watched his show one time, and guess what? It showed him getting pulled over in his hometown for speeding I think it was. Also SMP never said a thing about his color so why do ya even go there yourself? Goes both ways!

Uhh? Look at Greenmachines 4th question. I actually never mentioned a single word about race. I admit it could be taken that way, but I did NOT actually mention race in my original post did I? Correct me if I'm wrong but Greenmachine did it first. How are you and Green any different than I by your use of the word "ignorant" toward myself and others? Now I know it's not racist to call another ignorant but it is disrespectful just the same. Mind you that there are plenty of various races in a "hood" that also refer to themselves openly as "brotha". Truthfully I don't really think Stewart is a "brotha from the hood but just a typical spoiled brat superstar that thinks he's allowed to do anything he wants because of his stardom. Quit being so defensive and grow up a little and life might be more enjoyable for ya.

Umm Duroc and smp, you guys can twist it any way you want, it is easy to form an opinion of what was meant by your statements. As the old saying goes if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck....well then...its a duck.

smp, i take it you dont have kids. My son is 12yrs old and in his first 2 years racing has one championship and 2nd place overall in his 2nd season with only 12 of 15 races completed and the champ finished all 15. I have to believe he rides pretty damn good.
