Has anyone been to Soggy Bottom Mud Pit.  The website says they also have ATV trails that go down by the St Marys River.  It is in Macclenny about 30 min north of Baldwin.  The website is sbmudpit.com.  I may check it out this weekend but wondering if anyone has any reviews.

We have been there 3 times in the last couple of months.  The trails are ok with some good hills but they are for the most part pretty easy.  The trails are also not that long.  The whole park is only like 150 acres.  They do have a separate mud pit for ATV's than for the trucks.  The mud pit is pretty good.  Unless it has rained recently there is very little mud on the trails.

When we go there, we go with someone who has a mud truck.  Unless you are going there to watch the trucks also, then there really isn't much to do unless you play in the mud pit.  We all decided we won't be going back there for a while since we have seen all the trails several times.  There is only so many times that you can ride up and down the same trail before it gets boring.

I would give the place a C for ATV's.

06grizz,

I saw some other posts in other threads about you going to Hogwaller.  We just went out there this last weekend for the first time during the ATV weekend.  After going there, we may not even go back to Soggy Bottom.  There really is no comparison.

Also I forgot to mention, the area around the truck mud pit is extremely congested and very tight with all of the mud trucks and the ATV's and the people on the ATV's there have very little respect.  Plus they allow dirt bikes which will run you ever if you don't get out of their way.

PaulV

Are you going to go this coming weekend for hogwaller nationals?  I did read that soggy bottom was not very big.  I guess there is no point in wasting my time going there.

Unfortunately I won't be able to take our ATV's out for a while.  It would be fun though.
