Just wanted to remind everyone that there are drag races going on at Dirty Foot on Saturday the 26th. Heads up and bracket racing.  Last weekend there were some guys down with some 3 and 4 second quads!!!!!!!  I also heard Skully Motorsports was going to make it out with his 4 1/2 second quad and might be bringing a few of his others.  Should be lots of fun, who is coming out?

Unless anything has changed since the last race weekend its--

$20.  gate for riders or anyone over 12 staying to camp , $10 for 6-11  to ride or camp
,and non riding race day spectators.
$15.  entry fee for either heads up or bracket class .
TnT practice starts at 10:00 , racing around 12:00 , usually done by 4:00 - 5:00.

Dont forget about the new spectator fees

Drag Racing Fee

Spectator Only: $10 for 13 and up
                      $  5 for 6-12
                            5 and under are free
Racers Fee:      $20 membership fee Plus
$  5 Registration fee plus $10 that goes into the winner's pot

We have quads that get down the track in 5 seconds and some that do it in 11 seconds.  We have a good mix.  Most of the big 5 second quads have been beat in the bracket races by little kids on 50cc machines. I will tell you that it is a blast to race and also to watch!!!!!!!!!  See you at the track

Cool, mines not your average 4x4 so it should be fun! By any chance do you know what the 4x4 that won ran? I'm running low 4's in 200' I'm trying to get a baseline.... I'm thinking high 4's in 300' but it might be low 5's.

sorry for the confusion, the race starts at the normal time and that is:

On Sat, Feb 26th, DFMR will be having 2 styles of Drag Races: Bracket and Heads Up Style Double Elimination Drag Strip Races!!!!!

From 10am to noon -
We will start @ 10am with test and tune. This will be the practice time that the bracket racers will want to determine their dial in time. The heads up racers will work on finding the right set up for the track during this time. We will allow the test and tune 2 hours ending @ 12pm....

Noon to 1pm
We will take a break at 12pm for track maintenance, this will last between 30 minutes to an hour.

1pm
RACING BEGINS!!!!!! We will begin with DOUBLE ELIMINATION bracket racing with cash prizes for the winners!

Following the bracket race, we will do some track maintenance and roll right into the heads up races. This will also be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION tournament.

The divisions will be:

- Dirt Bike
- 400 and under
- 450 (stock) and up
- unlimited/modified
- UTV
- SxS
- 3 wheeler

After the races we will present the cash awards to the winners and then allow time after the race for some more heads up racing. This is the time where the racers can race each other for the fun of it or put some cash up to make it interesting.

Please note that every racer must have at least a helmet, unless you are racing in a side by side, then your machine must be equipped with a roll bar and seat belt. The only other requirement is a racing number. If you do not have one, we will assign you a number to attach to your shirt or machine.

The cost for each race is $5 for registration and $10 for the winners pot. You may choose to run both races if you like.

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER BY EMAILING US THE FOLLOWING INFO TO info@dirtyfootmudranch.com

-Name
-Age
-Class you will be competing in

SEE YOU AT THE RACES!!!!!!

4x4 won bracket race but if your in the 4's, you need to be in heads up !
I'd like to see a 4x4 run 4's ! ! !

I could be very wrong about 4's but I really don't know? My bike has gone 4.3 almost 4.2 in 200' @ 56mph.... 300' is gonna be all new to me, please no one think I'm talking trash I'm just coming to have fun. But I do have some interesting findings, last time out we ran the 4.3's and we ran a 4.3 in 2wd and 4wd. You would think it would get faster with the better traction of 4x4 but it didn't. I went wrong on setup also I got 25-12-10 skat trak extreme 11 paddles and they are no where near enough! I ordered a set of 16 paddles but they won't be here til Tuesday. All you local boys come say hello to tommorow when you see a blacked out Titan and can am that's me! Were driving a long way for it tommorow and the kicker is we have a race back home also lol so when were done at dirty foot it's haul ass back to Melbourne! See y'all in the morning.

thats a pretty good mph for only 200',you might be surprised if it willl pull 25-10 -12 paddle extreems ,it's making some power !!
what does it weigh in race trim ?
do you race with a kid on a yellow and black banshee, his name it Tony , races 200' over somewhere around melbourne.

I will look for you tomorrow!

Deff a very humbling experience! Sand robs horsepower lol, that and fighting fuel problems all day! The heat was killing me fan ran continuous and the motor was hot! I was soo lean it was scary! New plugs wires and iridium plugs were getting me some good spark, so much that I was maxed out on fuel and it still wasn't enough. But on another note we set a track record again last night at our local mud drag! 2.69 seconds in 150ft and it was a nasty pit last night! Had a blast though and I look forward to coming back to dirty foot.
