Has anybody ridden Osceola? We went there yesterday and a lot of the trails were under water. Had a lot of fun but most of the trails just dead end. I also recommend a gps as it's not marked really well and the ranger was out of maps.

We rode the Hog Pen area near Olustee. Has anyone been north of I-10? Is there a tunnel linking trails north and south of the interstate?

We used to go there when we first stated riding several years ago. The trails were always flooded and thats the reason we havn't been back. It's not to kid friendly. There is no connection between the north and south although we never made it to the North trails. There are to many other good places to ride without having to turn around every half mile.

I hear you. Was glad my daughter didn't go as I could hardly get through some of the water myself. I will see what I can find out about the northern area.

Haven't been lately but we usually ride the trails off of 215 (Turn in across from the prision) the 1st trail to the right kinda makes a loop & tends to be a little drier than some of the others.

There is an overpass that goes over i10. It is a forest road which goes to the north

Where can you access the forest road and where does it take you. We used to ride down by the prison on the road to Lake CiIty. If I remember, the north side is called Mallory Swamp. Have you ridden in that area? What are the trails like. I figured it was labled "swamp" and was therefore always flooded. I like Osceola as it's not as crowded as most places but the flooded trails really make it an unpleasant place to ride. I have heard that you can ride out of the campground over by the ranger station. Any good news about different trails may be reason enough for me to give it another try.

I'm busy the next couple weekends but maybe we can hook up for a ride and find some dry trails.
