Hey guys I got an 04 Kawasaki Prarie 360 4x4. Its had 2 main issues after riding all weekend and im not 100% on what to do about them. First of all its starting to smoke like a lawnmower. Ran it low on oil yesterday and I think its going to need a rebuild. My question is whats the best way to go about doing that. Who sells what I would need to get that done and how hard would it be to bore it out some to like mabye a 400? Has anyone had any experience with rebuilding these bikes? I know they are supposted to be reliable and so far its been 100% tough as nails but I dont know if doing that will cause problems.

My second problem is the front diff is not locking. We put new seals in it awhile back and the guy that did it said the clutches were still good in it. But now its not locking. The mechanic at the local powersports shop said something about the computer being bad. He mentioned a module under the seat that controls it and since it might be bad it wont lock no matter what. I didnt really catch what he ment but I got enough to know the bike has a few sensors that like work off one another like the engine braking one (thats disconnected) and some others. He said if they arent all working then the computer doesnt know what to do or something. Not real sure what all that means. If someone could mabye shed some light on how these bikes actually work that would be cool. That way I would kind of know what I need to do to get my bike back to real 4wd instead of 3 1/2.

Anyway thats what I got for now. Im sure I left some needed information out so please let me know what I need to add to help fix the problem. Thanks for the help and take care.
