We had a blast flat track racing last weekend,it was a great night !!
it was good to have the turn out pick up,there were quite a few new quads, lots of sprints ,and tons of bikes.
the track was pretty good ,especially in the main .
Bill and his group did a very good job for their first race at their new facility.
I hope next time they run the sprints with us instead of after us,the sprints help bring it the track by blowing out the loose stuff and putting down some rubber.
only a few mishaps,I don't think anything was serious, some of the new guys need to keep a little more air in that right rear tire!!
we got crappy starts all night on the banshee, but Jon managed to pull off the win , hopefully the yfz will be compleated for the next race in Jasper  !!
come on guys get them quads ready, the weather is changing its time to start back FT and TT racing !

nothing is set up for TT racing yet, this was their first race.
the TT track is still there, but needs to be cut in, and ran on.
I'll get with Bill ,and see what kind of schedule can get made, but we have to have riders to make it happen !

thanks to everyone that help put on the show. it was a blast once again. i finnaly got my 500 to run right and i was DOMINATE all day. got every holeshot, won both heats with ease. in the main MY bad luck cought up to me. got the holeshot again and my silencer mount decided to break on the first lap leaving the guys behind me dodging a flying metal object. i had to make a choice to back off and save the motor or go for it and chance killing it. i decided to let jon go and take 2nd so my engine could live to see another race. the 2 strokes were leaving the 4 pokers in the dust all day and we plan on doing it again in jasper!!  Thumbs Up

DOMINATE, peach picker please !!
you must be confusing your pre or post race duties ,I was talking about circle TRACK ,not a circle JERK   Boxer.
Seriously,it was a good night,I wish your end cap wouldn't have come loose, that would have been a very good race !!!

peach picker, circle jerk? how many times i gotta tell you to stay out my bizzness. Evil
naw, silencer fell off completely! i had to go get it from the infield after the race. LOL
yes, dominate is all circles! here let me get the dictionary out......

dom·i·nate
[dom-uh-neyt]
verb, -nat·ed, -nat·ing.
–verb (used with object)
1. to rule over; govern; control.
2. to tower above; overlook; overshadow: A tall pine dominated the landscape.
3. to predominate, permeate, or characterize.
4. Mathematics . (of a series, vector, etc.) to have terms or components greater in absolute value than the corresponding terms or components of a given series, vector, etc.
5. Linguistics . (of a node in a tree diagram) to be connected with (a subordinate node) either directly by a single downward branch or indirectly by a sequence of downward branches.

this is how i would describe the heats.  Lecture

in all seriousness it would have been a great race. good thing is we get to do it all over again in jasper. cant wait to race ya'll florida drug dealers again. Shocked

Not ALL Floridians are dealers, but I sometimes wonder if  I'm not under the influence with all the damn money I waste on these quads !
I just seen where your canister come off in the video, after exiting turn two , did it get smashed up

So does winning the heats get you the trophy and money now?  Laugh

Whats up guys? I heard the track was nice, really wanted to race but I was attending a Shrinners fund raiser event for some friends. Hopefully I can make the next Thunderbowl event in October, my quad is sitting and ready and I'm itching to race. I finally got my banshee sold and the guy who bought it said he would like to give FT racing a try. so I'm trying to talk him into the October race. We'll see.
                                    See you guys in October
