Lookin For Help Beginning

Hey guys!
My name's Andrew and I live in Tampa.
I have the 2005 Yamaha Raptor 350se and I want to know if there are any places out there with "open to the public" tracks.
Places where a guy wanting to race (yours truly) can get acquainted with the feel of a real track, the corners, jumps, etc.
If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate any information I can get.
I usually ride at Rancho if anyone rides there, we could meet up some Saturday.

Yo man. Hit up East Bay Motocross. They have a quad night every Wednesday from 7 - 10. Riders from all skill levels go. Its a great track in Riverview area of Tampa.

Andrew.....I used to ride Rancho all the time, and of course always felt unsafe.  You need to check out Dirty Foot Mud Ranch  www.dirtyfootmudranch.com

they have a beginners mx track, oval track and drag strip.  They also have 30+ miles of trails......1800 acres.  4 times what rancho has.  They also have running water, a zip line, rope swings and a swim hole.  We go every other week now and HAVE A BLAST every time!!!!

Wade: is it open to whoever shows up or is it for the racers that race that night? meaning, can i just show up, pay whatever fees and ride?
Jay: what city is DFMR in? I'm in Seffner, but obviously Rancho is in Zephyrhills area so I don't mind a drive to go crazy (:

dirty foot mud ranch is in Fort Meade...I live in tampa and it takes me a hour to get there and 45 minutes to get to rancho

eastbay mx is a new mx track and is doing a wonderful job for everyone.....they have a FB as well look them up

Yep. It is open to everyone. They are a new track in town. Mike does a great job. The costs are:
$15 one time membership fee (good through December)
$10 gate fee
$10 ride fee

After you get the membership it is $20 to ride and every 10th time is free. It is comparable to other track prices around. Bartow MX is cheaper but you get what you pay for LOL.
