Do ya'll think we could schedule a group ride to a far away place such as Hat mccoy or maybe the Mud Nationals ?   I would be willing to do it with a years notice . My family and I are planning a trip in the Fall to include the Virginias and Tennessee .  It would be cool for some of us to make a real road trip North .....what do you think ?

That is a great idea, it's what our friends and us did 3 years ago when we caravaned to Murphy N.C. and rode the trails in tellico and then we caravaned to Land Between The Lakes, KY and rode the trail sysyem there, it was so awesome. we had a blast!!!

Sounds like a good idea.  Afew weeks back on ATV TV there was a place I think in Tenn that you can ride ATV's on the road.  Ride in, fill up with gas, and head back out on the trails.  Also, said they had cheap hotel rooms.

I'd like to get a few of us from Naples to take a ride up.  Just got some tv's in my new truck so that would be a very nice trip. How long are you thinking of staying?

this looks good. Cool the drive isn't too bad, trails, camping, etc. this is in the eastern most area of tennessee in that little wedge, around johnson city.

I have family in Elizabethton TN. which is next to Johnson city. I hear there is some sort of an atv park in that area and this may be the one.
We are interested in doing this trip. I'll try and make some calls to see what kind of hotels/cabins are around there.

How long is everyone going to go for. And how far is it to drive from here?

The area in question (N.E. TN) is a 13 hr drive normally however, when pulling trailers and with a group it would probably be 15 hrs. The ideal way to do this is to meet in a central location and put as many quads on trailers that are being pulled by a diesel and then a lesser amount of quads on the gas powered vehicles that way we could convoy together and make better time. Not to mention be there for eacj other in case there is a problem on the road.
