Why Aren't All Off-Highway Vehicles Required To Be Titled?

Why are ATV/UTVs the only off-highway vehicles required to be titled in this State? Why not ALL OHVs? Are airboats also exempt? Many of those other OHVs don't have spark arrestors or catalytic converters, they get stolen and cause environmental/personal injury, as well! We all remember that buggy which caused a massive brush fire in Francis Taylor/Everglades WMA jsut two summers ago. The state went after the buggy owner for reparations. I titled, registered and insured my OHV(1994 Samurai) to comply with all of the regs and the intent of those regs. So, why are only some OHVs allowed to be "outside" this law? Also, since county police patrol the common and not so common roads in places like River Ranch and SE, are they legally-authorized to cite the operator of an untitled ATV/UTV?

The law is against atvs and geared to keep atving down, just like corbit, they say atvs arent allowed because they tare up the trails and people would go out there to ride instead of hunt or camp, whats so funny about that is,%90 of the people that go out there, go with mudd trucks, and they solely go there to mudd and tare chit up and party. Anytime a redneck around here says lets go mudding, they go to corbit, the trails are screwed up cause of trucks...lol.

They have a stupid, wheel base law, anything with a lesser wheel base of I think 60in or something cant be out there, anything over can.

Thats just a way to say NO ATVs...lol. if you had a enduro dirt bike thats tagged, you could go there and tare chit up everyday and be legit...lol.

so all you need is someone to make a-arms to total 60 inches and go see what happens then what they could tell you haha

Play time is over in corbet .check the new reg and rules.if your out there off the trail you have to be hunting.if not then there are big fines and tickets.so no more messing around .If your not hunting then don't go out there.fwc and pbso said there are going to make examples of people playing out there big time.
