I hope your truck has an alarm cause they'll take the whole thing in certain areas. Chain it in several places, take the wheels off if possible( Harder to carry than to roll), reverse into the parking space and try not to leave enough room to take it off the back.

Bass Pro sells a lock that bolts to the bed of your truck and the graphite lock (like the U shape ones you see on bicycles) goes up and over your frame then locks into the bed.

Also remember your ramps. If someone steals your ramps, you either have a day you can't ride or worse yet,you can't load your quad back on your truck if they are stolen while you are out riding. I installed a cable on my ramps and I lock them inside the bed to a tiedown cleat.

the locks that go on the toung of a trailer to lock it works and there is no part of the like bar to cut, so it makes it harder to take it off, and some dealerships carry ones that say they are specificly for disk

If you get that, I would also lock the quad to the truck with a cable and lock. Just my .02.

I bought an LA Guard dog when I first purchased my quad
and have been happy with it. I bought it because I did
not know if the tie-downs in my F-150 would suffice.
One thing though, is I have to keep the tail gate
down (or take it off). No biggy to me...but may be to you.
Also, you can put the LA guard dog 'through' your ramps
and that way lock them in place.
If you need pics, I may be able to take some pictures the next
time I have it loaded.
